Second attempt at animation of one of my fractals.Use of constant focal length switching to lighting effect based on no fixed focal length.This is a low quality version as the original is dvd qaulity and about 900 megs.Render time was 7.65 days and is composed of 3900 images.I put the animation to music "Gary Numan -Film" but I can't put that on this low qaulity one due to copyright.

Thanks I fixed the quality of the flash video a bit by increasing the bit rate today but it's still
not near as nice as the avi file.

I noticed that most of the animation fractals are "Gif" format.Do you know if they are good quality and keep the same resolution?

resolution isn't a problem, but animated gifs have a color palette of only 256 colors max... isn't much issue of you only have a few basic colors, but when you want nice shadings it can cause trouble.

The good thing about gif is that its more common and Internet Explorer can view them, whereas I believe IE is unable to view aPNGs
(at least it used to be unable, perhaps the newest one has fixed that issue, but I have no idea as I refuse to use IE)

Hi Annie how are you ? Glad you liked it and faved it.The dvd quality version set to the music "Film" by Gary Numan is much better but too large to put up here so I made this shock wave flash video but the detail took a big hit.Have a great day I am going to sleep now as it is 3:45 am.Cheers
